Kannamoochi is a Tamil-language horror web series that premiered on March 13, 2020, on ZEE5.

The narrative centers on Priya (played by Shamna Kasim, also known as Poorna), a single mother who relocates from Bangalore to Chennai with her hearing-impaired daughter, Aishu. They move into a dilapidated apartment complex, unaware of its dark history. Two decades earlier, a family of four was brutally murdered in the same building, leaving only a mentally challenged boy named Balu as the survivor. The investigating officer at the time, Inspector Louthersamy (portrayed by Bose Venkat), died under mysterious circumstances just as he was about to solve the case.

Shortly after settling in, Aishu disappears during a local procession. Priya’s desperate search for her daughter leads her to uncover connections between the current events and the tragic incident from twenty years ago. With the assistance of Santosh (played by Amzath Khan), a food delivery executive, Priya delves deeper into the apartment’s haunting past, encountering supernatural elements and unraveling long-buried secrets.
