Citadel: Honey Bunny is an Indian Hindi-language spy action-drama series developed by Raj & DK. It is a spin-off and prequel to the international “Citadel” series created by the Russo Brothers, blending a Bollywood aesthetic with high-stakes espionage.

The story is set in the 1990s and follows Honey (played by Samantha Ruth Prabhu), a struggling actress, and Bunny (played by Varun Dhawan), a daring stuntman. Initially, their worlds collide under unusual circumstances, but they are eventually drawn into a covert espionage network.

Their partnership and love story take unexpected turns as they become involved in dangerous missions and navigate layers of betrayal. Fast forward to the present day, they must reunite, despite their estranged relationship, to protect their daughter, Nadia Sinh. Nadia grows up to be a pivotal character in the original “Citadel” series played by Priyanka Chopra.
